## Why your book may have sellable data

The businesses you fund and broker are real operating companies. Years of quoting, scheduling, customer support and sales leave behind exactly the kind of records AI labs license: how real work gets done.

## Your payout: 20% of our fee

- **20% of FileFunding's fee** on each deal that closes with a company you introduced. Not 20% of the deal.
- Our fee comes from the AI labs and data companies we work with. Your merchant pays nothing.
- Paid after the deal closes and FileFunding has been paid. Nothing is owed if no deal closes.
- Terms agreed in writing before you refer. Your referral is disclosed to the company.

Example only: for every $1,000 FileFunding is paid on a closed deal, the referring partner earns $200. Your merchant pays nothing.

## How to start

- **Say hello (5 minutes)**: Email us (hello@filefunding.com) or use the [contact page](https://filefunding.com/contact) with your company name. We reply within 1–2 business days with your partner code and the written referral terms.

- **Make your referral link**: Use the link builder below. Your code rides along, so every estimate a merchant starts from your link is tagged to you.

- **Send the intro**: Copy the email, text or one-liner below and drop in your link. Or choose "I'm referring a company" in the estimator and we'll reach out for you.

- **What happens next**: Your merchant enters their work email and sees an estimated range. We reply within 1–2 business days, scope their records, and they compare offers and decide. We keep you posted, and you're paid after a deal closes.

**Q: What do I earn?**
20% of FileFunding's fee on each deal that closes with a company you introduced. That's 20% of our fee, not of the deal, and our fee comes from the labs and data companies, not from your merchant. It's paid after the deal closes and we've been paid, under terms agreed in writing before you refer.

**Q: Which of my merchants should I send?**
Established operating businesses with multiple years of email, chat, support tickets, CRM or code, usually 20+ staff at some point. Closed or closing accounts can fit too, as long as the records still exist and someone can sign. Restaurants, retail and very small shops usually don't.

**Q: Can I promise my merchant a number?**
No. Share the free estimate link and let them see their own range. An estimate is an estimate: not an offer, appraisal or guarantee. Some companies won't receive offers, and we tell them quickly if so.

**Q: How do I track my referrals?**
Use your referral link (it carries your partner code), or choose "I'm referring a company" in the estimator and give us your details. We confirm each referral with you by email and keep you posted.

**Q: Is my merchant's data shared or sold?**
Nothing is shared without the company's own written agreement. Labs first see only an anonymized profile. FileFunding never buys or resells data; most deals are licenses and the company keeps its records.
